About GEO Solutions
GEO Solutions was founded in 2003 by Brian Cook and William Kennard, P.E. It was their desire for GEO Solutions to stand out from other consulting firms in the area by providing cost-effective and practical solutions to their clients’ development projects. The founding partner’s “hands-on” approach to all projects, regardless of size or complexity, continues to this day.
Our geotechnical, environmental and materials testing staff provide services to clients in both the private and public sectors. Our firm is committed to providing cost- effective solutions to our clients’ projects as well as being responsive and thorough in meeting our clients’ needs and objectives.
Our Work
GEO Solutions was established to provide geotechnical, environmental consulting and materials testing and inspection services to clients in the private, commercial, industrial and government sectors. We have helped develop and implement innovative and cost-effective solutions since 2003. GEO Solutions continues to provide services through all phases of each project from concept through completion.
Certifications and Licenses
GEO Solutions carries and maintains the licenses and certifications required for the performance of geotechnical, environmental and materials testing and inspection services during construction. Our professional personnel maintain licenses in states across the southeast. Our field personnel are trained and certified to perform a wide variety of field inspection and materials testing services. In addition, GEO Solution’s laboratory is certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ALDOT and AASHTO. GEO Solutions participates in the AASHTO cement and concrete reference laboratory (CCRL) and materials reference laboratory (AMRL) sample proficiency programs.
Our Personnel
GEO Solution’s strengths lie in the diversity and experience of its key personnel as well as the personal involvement of the founding partners, Mr. Cook and Mr. Kennard. GEO Solutions is known for meeting challenging timelines and budgetary issues on a variety of development projects. We also maintain certifications in ACI, NICET, ALDOT, OSHA, AHERA and HUD.
Our geotechnical, environmental consulting and materials testing staff provides a wealth of experience for a wide variety of projects. Our staff includes Registered Engineers (PE), Qualified Credential Professionals (QCP), Qualified Credential Inspectors (QCI) and personnel with other applicable certifications, registrations and training.
