Geotechnical engineering services included a design level subsurface exploration and laboratory testing program.  In spite of poor to marginal soil conditions on portions of the site, it was possible to still use conventional foundations in conjunction with GeoPiers, a ground modification system.  Additional services included a site specific seismic survey to determine the IBC Site Seismic Classification.

Environmental services on the project included NPDES permitting and inspections during construction.

Construction materials testing services during construction included subgrade reviews, mass grading monitoring and testing, GeoPier installation, GeoPier load testing and foundation bearing reviews.
