Village of Providence

Geotechnical Engineering services were performed on all phases of the development. Subsurface exploration included a combination of soil test borings and exploratory test pits throughout the development.  Foundation recommendations were provided for the different buildings including shallow conventional soil bearing, geo piers and helical anchors.

GEO Solutions provided the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) monitoring and permitting as required by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.  We also provided Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) as development progressed.

GEO Solutions acted as the owner’s on-site representative for numerous construction projects within the development.  Services performed included earthwork monitoring, field density testing, foundation inspections, compressive strength testing on concrete, mortar and grout, and structural steel inspections.
